Hi, . Today I write to you a quick note. I want to acknowledge that while Spring is when we need to plant the next phase of our precious life, right now on planet Earth, life is not easy.
Some have even asked me "Laura, how can you be so focused on offering events like the Blossoming Vision Bough gathering when so much tragedy is happening in the world? Shouldn't you be empowering people to be activists!?" The bottom line is that I am.
Many people think that I never have a bad day or that everything is rainbows and butterflies in my life. (Thanks to colleague, Marli Williams, for bringing this to my attention!) This is certainly not the case!
At the start of the pandemic, my husband and I were called to travel regularly out of town to help my eldest brother due to his declining health. In 2021 not only did my brother pass, I also had two of my other siblings die.
While I am back home now, I continue to have a huge responsibility load to wrap everything up for my brother's estate. This is in addition to helping the ToLS make new shifts and turns into the future. Add in my own personal and spiritual growth challenges.
During all of this, I continue to focus on the positive sides of the human being because that is my job, especially now. I founded the Tree of Life Sanctuary to help our species through times like these.
Life isn't always easy, especially when there is so much unknown and uncertainty. Our hearts are stretched to the max watching not only the people close to us suffer, add to it now the ache of what's happening in Ukraine.
So know, , that I will continue to offer positive and inspiring things for you to read and experience, no matter what is happening in the world.
It's my job. It's my life's purpose.
