Hello again, . A dear friend, author, puzzle creator and spiritual colleague of mine, Cristina Smith, just sent me an email that reminded me of what she and I learned in our spiritual training...the opposite of fear is
the joy of creation. Here is what she wrote...
"Sometimes in the hustle bustle of daily life it's easy to give into fear or take on a jaded attitude. But here's a secret: you can banish that negative outlook by dreaming. You can create your future! Oh, maybe you’re not going to be an astronaut, international spy or
brain surgeon, or maybe you will, who knows? There's only one way to find out. Start daydreaming, visualizing and imagining what if? It’s your mind, your imagination and you have the power to free it.
Here’s your assignment: Daydream your positive future at least 10 minutes a day for the next week. At a minimum, you’ll be giving yourself 10 minutes a day of dopamine, a
brain chemical that stimulates creativity, problem solving, reduces stress and more. You’ll also be letting the universe know what you want in a positive, playful way; and the universe loves to play. Your future is in your dreams so seize the day and start creating a better future for you and all of us!"
Cristina nailed it, didn't she? Fear and anxiety come from daydreaming
about what we DON'T want to happen. Joy and fun come from daydreaming about what we DO want to happen. Daydreaming is being an artist who is painting a vision, or a writer who is telling a story. Humans are co-creators with Source. A practice of creating positive things builds trust in the Divine, self-confidence, health, wealth and a more loving world.
What do you imagine you could create? What would your
life look like if you knew your life purpose? How would your inspired life make the world better?
I wonder if this might be the year that each Soul in the ToLS community uncovers their unique, precious life purpose? The year when life was so challenging that, in their heart, they just knew that putting off this endeavor could no longer be tolerated? And, jeez, what if it's fun!
If you suspect that this is true for you, please join me and the ToLS team at our Spring Equinox Gathering. Come hear about how dreaming your future is what Winter and Spring are all about.
This is the gathering where we create our annual Blossoming Vision Bough together ~ and it happens on Saturday, March 15th, 1 to 3 pm PT. It's a hybrid event, so no matter where you are, you can join us.
Registration is now open and we really need you to register if you want to attend. (You'll notice that the event address is building 432 this time. That's because the library construction may have
begun, so we are holding it in the ToLS conference room in our administration building.)
Until our next connection, please rest, reflect, and do positive daydreaming. Take good care of yourself.
